For anyone who would prefer having their GPS routing come through on a larger screen format, say for example the Apple iPad, or the HP TouchPad or the Lenovo LePad, there is now a solution on the market.  This is the cradle that everyone has been waiting for:  the Tab 3. The RAM Mount Tab-Tite 3 is the universal cradle that provides a custom fit. Spring loaded to fit a variety of tablets, it also has a quick release feature so users can easily transition their tablets in and out of the cradle.

Made from high strength composite, the Tab 3 is compatible with the Apple iPad (with and without a bumper or case), the Apple iPad 2, the HP Slate, the HP TouchPad and the Lenovo LePad. When the tablet is secured into the cradle, users still have full access to all ports, including usb, power and audio jacks.

The Tab 3 will work with tablets that fit within the following range of dimensions: 8.25″ to 10.75″ in height, up to 7.81″ in width and up to .56″ in edge depth. Although the Tab-Tite cradle is classified as a universal mount, it is not recommended for use if the tablet does not meet the dimension requirements.

As of March 30, RAM Mounts confirmed that the Motorola Xoom will not work with the Tab 3. Although originally believed to be compatible, the cradle did not provide the expected support. Recently my wife and I purchased a beautiful new home. We have two sons (11 and 13) who have been begging me to buy a new Plasma TV. Secretly I wanted one as well but good but its not the type of purchase you just bring up to your wife. Since we were moving into a new house I thought the timing was right to ask the wife the idea. To my surprise she said sure.

We called this company in search of the perfect LCD/Plasma television. What they offered us was much more.

When I called, the informed me that they not only sold TV’s, but sold and installed a complete line of home theatre equipment. They had everything from home automation devices and automated lighting to incredible BOSE audio systems. They offered to come take a look at our new home to determine how to create the best home theatre experience given our layout. What started out as just another TV purchase turned into much more than that.

We purchased a 50″ Panasonic Flatscreen TV and had it wall mounted in our living room. We bought a cool touch screen which was programmed to turn on and off our new TV as well as the automated lighting system we opted to purchase. We also purchased a beautiful new BOSE sound system!

We loved our experience with this home theatre installation company. All there products were top notch and their installation was efficient and superb. They handled and hid all the messy wiring without causing any damage!  Read more...
