Free Mobile Phones – Upgrades

Mobile phone upgrades are easy to do – if you know where and how to do it.

A “mobile phone upgrade” is where an existing customer of a network (eg T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange, O2, 3G, Virgin etc), who has been with that network for about 1 year since getting their last mobile phone, gets a new mobile phone from the network at a free, or cheap discount price, in return for agreeing to stay with that network for another 12 months, under a 12 month contract agreement. The customer keeps their existing mobile phone number, and stays with the same network. This is called a “mobile phone upgrade” – often it is a free mobile phone upgrade!

To get the best offer for a free or cheap mobile phone upgrade you must understand this. The mobile phone networks pay a mobile phone dealer more for a new customer (new mobile phone contract) than they do for a mobile phone upgrade customer. This odd situation has been the same for many years. The only network that seems to pay mobile phone dealers nearly as much for an upgrade customer as for a new free mobile phone customer is Three (also known as 3 or 3G). The other mobile hone networks simply do not seem to value their existing customers as much!

The craziness of this situation is that it encourages you to be disloyal to your current network.

Re: Wi-Fi problem of the MSI VR 601 laptop
You are having the MSI VR 601 laptop and you are saying that the Wi-Fi of this laptop is not working properly. You are not able to see the wireless networks available in the range of the Wi-Fi. This can be because of the Driver software for the Wi-Fi device of laptop. You should reinstall the Driver for this again. This will fix the problem if it was not installed properly at the previous time. After the installation of the driver restart the laptop for taking the change to apply which you have made by installing the Driver software.

Getting Close To Your Retail Consumers

Resourceful retailers are finding creative ways to reinvent themselves and transform their business into something that entices and keeps customers. The more creative a retailer is, the more that business is going to last. Even in an economic down-turn, 50% of consumers will often pay more for a better customer experience.

While filming Smart Retail™, I saw some pretty clever retailing and it brought to mind all the opportunities that are out there for independent specialty retailers in this threatening economy. What it all boiled down to was unique customer experience and exceptional customer service.

Times have indeed shifted and retailers had to cut back to basics. Interesting that basics included customer service, isn’t it? This means that, in many cases, retailers had once dropped out the fundamental action of servicing their customers in better, more competitive ways.

The days when retailers could just sit back and watch customers come in because of location or brands or nice merchandise are over. Now retailers need to get on the ball and drive customers in with offers or gimmicks and keep them coming back because of something exceptional.

That something exceptional falls into customer service.

I once came across “the Japanese way” of customer service, which is giving customer-service representatives time for long conversations with targeted customers and tuning into the customer needs.

Getting Your Home – Wired

David Adams over at OSNews has mapped out his new custom Wired Home. Some of the things he’s looking at are: Structured wiring (Cat5, RG6, and a patch panel), Wired networking (ethernet), Wireless networking (802.11g), Remote lighting control, Remote heating and air conditioning control, Intrusion alarm, Fire alarm, Surveillance cameras, and more.

Want to add some value to your home? One of the best ways is to retrofit your home with structured wiring, which incorporates RG6 and Category 5 cabling. Structured wiring, which incorporates RG6 cabling and Category 5 wire, is the most effective electronic foundation to support high-speed voice, video and data connections. For homeowners desiring a comprehensive home automation system, with a single PC coordinating HVAC, lighting, communications, entertainment, and security systems, structured wiring may be a necessity.

Because structured wiring can increase a house’s value, it’s an upgrade a growing number of homeowners will consider. Remodelers who can educate homeowners about structured wiring and the functionality it offers stand to increase current sales and plant the idea for additional projects down the road. And it’s not just for customers planning a whole-house remodel, either.
