What will the Cell Phone Marketplace be like in 2010?

It is nearly impossible these days to watch a television program without seeing at least one television commercial about the newest model of a particular brand of cell phone or a commercial touting the merits of a particular cellular carrier. The cellular phone industry is in full battle mode, and every company wants to come out on top with the largest share of the marketplace.

Several years ago, technological advances in cell phones ruled the roost when it came to leading the cell phone market. The companies which created and manufactured the cell phones that were the most feature-rich and the most technologically advanced were, by default, the market leaders.
